Internet Explorer Tip: Don't type the whole address

Tip: if you want to go to "www.google.com", normally you will have to type www.google.com, some of you might even type google.com (only works with certains sites), now i found out that you only need to type google, then hit Control and Enter at the same time, the www. and .com will be added automatically.

Windows Tip: Don't look for the program shortcut

Tip: Sometimes the shortcut or icon for a programs is missing either from the desktop or program list.  You can run the executable file by pressing the Windows key and R. Type winword for example to run Microsoft Word.  The run command will remember the last entry so you can go to it quickly after that.  I use the calculator infrequently so I do it with calc.
