Microsoft Word

Problem: Word is missing from my programs or on my desktop

Solution: If you are missing the Word icon on your desktop then you must put it there.  Go to START>PROGRAMS>MICROSOFT OFFICE. Look for the Microsoft Office icon. Right-click on it and choose send it to desktop. If Word is not in your programs list then go to START>RUN type: winword.exe  and press ENTER. If the Word comes up then you need to create a shortcut to it.  If it does not it needs to be installed.

Problem: Error messages could include: "there is not enough memory or disk space to run Word"; "winword caused a GPF in module user.exe"; "System Resources are Dangerously Low"

Solution: Basically what has happened here is that the global template file called Normal.dot has been corrupted. All you need to do is delete the corrupted template. How?
